At Lemon Tree we are purposeful in our play, community, and outreach.

We are proud to offer a variety of programs for both little ones and grown-ups. Through partnering with providers in our neighborhood, we’ve created a local network of experts (including musicians, yoga instructors, physicians, and more) who help to enrich our programming and our community.

Our space provides a welcoming, safe, and creative environment for little ones and their grown-ups to grow, play and connect. Our classrooms are intentionally designed with age-appropriate materials and defined play areas, creating an enriching experience for children and their caregivers to work on developmental areas together.

Pop-In & Custom

Following socially distant protocols, we are excited to offer small group, outdoor play dates.  Attend one of ours or schedule your own for your pod or family.

Enjoy Lemon Tree favorite activities or add in a yoga or music class!

Supporting Caregivers

Having to be your child's caregiver and full time educator is not easy.  We are happy to support you in creating routines, activities, materials lists, independent play environments and more.

Postpartum Support also available!

6 Week Sessions

These intimate remote groups are led by a Postpartum Doula and limited to 6 mamas per session. Our goal is to connect you with a local network of moms and experts, while also providing an

opportunity to learn from and support each other.

The Easy Button

We teamed up with a local Physical Therapist to create a Lending Library and all in one Play Kits.

Rent ours for a month or purchase the list of supplies and activities.  Bored with your puzzles and books?  Check out our add on items and baby gear library!

A Conscious Community

With schools closed and remote learning our option for this school year, the opportunity gap in early childhood will continue to grow.  Socio economic and racial inequities will continue to grow; but we can work together as a community to not let our little ones fall through the cracks.

In 2014, two local moms longed for a place for their little ones to play and learn in their 14th Street neighborhood. When they were unable to find such a place in the area, Lemon Tree was created.

We planted roots with seven neighborhood families. Since then, we have seen the needs of the neighborhood grow and are continually expanding our programming to meet them.

We aim to be not only a place to play, but a resource for the community, offering enriching programs for parents and children alike.
